Why SQ Depot
Founder Sulthan Hameed remains closely involved in requirements, problem-solving, and oversight.
We plan around transport, weather, material availability, and island operating conditions.
Solutions are selected for suitability, reliability, and ease of maintenance.
Clients receive direct updates from people who understand the technical work.

Founder story
Long before he became an electrician, Sulthan Hameed was a curious child growing up on an island with limited access to tools, spare parts, and technical learning.
By dismantling seven portable cassette players, he began teaching himself how electronic devices were assembled, why they failed, and how they could be repaired.
“Learning things means having the courage to go beyond failures. I learned how to fix things by breaking up 7 Sony Walkmans.”— Sulthan Hameed, Founder
Islanders have always built, repaired, adapted, and created with what was available. The projects are larger now, but the curiosity remains.
